Jameson Irish Whiskey is one of the best-selling whiskeys all over the globe. The brand has a very rich history and a beautiful product. However, the brand’s clientele is aging and Jameson feels a desire to establish a connection with a younger audience. The global marketing strategy is to focus on film as a medium.

Brief

Execute a through-the-line campaign that creates a strong brand image in the Netherlands and strengthens the bond between the brand and a younger audience.

Execution

We love telling intriguing stories through film. In the case of Jameson we felt they needed more direction and essence. While we were in the process of creating, we discovered the Latin quote "Sine Metu", which means "without fear", the motto of founder Sir John Jameson. His motto perfectly describes the way Jameson looks at life. We felt this needed to be shared. We created a through-the-line campaign highlighting Dutch film culture, and by supporting young filmmakers, screening online premieres, sponsoring festivals and creating the Jameson Film Experience, A three-part movie experience in cooperation with the International Film Festival Rotterdam, where independent storylines, unorthodox locations and uninhibited characters meet and merge.
