Branding Oyster
Issue
Back in 2008 we got approached to do the naming and branding for an elegant and improved sex club. Located just outside the Netherlands, near Antwerp’s mundane and woody villages.
Brief
Develop an appropriate name, corporate identity and communication strategy.
Execution
In ideation we focused ourselves on a feminine and classical approach. In Oyster we found the right name, communicating the exciting contrary between the rough shell and the soft and sensual texture of the inside, thereby added the stimulant forces of the mollusc. The corporate identity breathes this concept by using the shape of an oyster as the logo, different layers of paper, pearl finish and a very classical typefont. The communication strategy is based around storytelling, using a set of beautiful created poems, which were also translated into short videoclips for the website. Unfortunately the club is not open yet. Partners in this project were: Another Company and Carbon Media.
